Network Specialist


  • Manage the school’s network system, computer systems, and capacity to improve the process of online classes and to integrate academic supports.
  • Consult with school administration staff and students to collect and analyze data gathered to conceptualize and define system requirements, current system’s capabilities, information flow, and problems.
  • Develop and maintain tools and custom applications that support server management and windows scripting for online classes.
  • Monitor the hardware and on-going network systems to evaluate the utility of the system’s hardware, software, and communications components and their effectiveness.
  • Identify networking problems.
  • Analyze network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function.
  • Install, configure and manage network servers and support the school’s local-area network (LAN), wide-area network (WAN), internet, or related networking equipment.
  • Implement network security measures to protect data, software and hardware.
  • Recommend new hardware/software to meet user requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain network, computer systems, in-house software, and hardware to provide the best learning resource programs.
  • Perform routine maintenance or repairs to networking components.
  • Back up network data.


Master degree in Computer Information System or Computer related field.
