Manage the school’s network system, computer systems, and capacity to improve the process of online classes and to integrate academic supports.
Consult with school administration staff and students to collect and analyze data gathered to conceptualize and define system requirements, current system’s capabilities, information flow, and problems.
Develop and maintain tools and custom applications that support server management and windows scripting for online classes.
Monitor the hardware and on-going network systems to evaluate the utility of the system’s hardware, software, and communications components and their effectiveness.
Identify networking problems.
Analyze network data to determine network usage, disk space availability, or server function.
Install, configure and manage network servers and support the school’s local-area network (LAN), wide-area network (WAN), internet, or related networking equipment.
Implement network security measures to protect data, software and hardware.
Recommend new hardware/software to meet user requirements.
Troubleshoot and maintain network, computer systems, in-house software, and hardware to provide the best learning resource programs.
Perform routine maintenance or repairs to networking components.
Back up network data.
Master degree in Computer Information System or Computer related field.
